Allison Gilman has been a attorney in Broward County for more than 30 years in both public and private practice, helping people in their times of need, especially clients who have been physically or mentally abused. As a litigator, she has tried over 200 cases in Broward County courts. She runs her own successful law firm. These accomplishments led Allison to become a nationally recognized attorney. She has appeared on numerous national TV shows to share her legal analysis of trials including Court TV, CNN, Nancy Grace, Anderson Cooper, and more.

When a homeless child came to her door one rainy night with nothing but the clothes on his back and a teddy bear in hand, Allison took him in. She cared for the young boy for three years and helped him reunite with his biological mother. Today Allison is the mother of a beautiful 11-year- old daughter and encourages people to become foster parents. Sharing these experiences with children gives her a perspective of the law that few Judges will ever have. Allison serves our community as a guardian ad litem, a volunteer for lawyers for literacy and judges mock trial competitions for Broward County.
